About The Designer – Tak Kolektiv
Tak Kolektiv is a collaborative design practice founded in 2015 by three designers united by a shared passion for thoughtful and purposeful design. Working across product, graphic, and spatial design, the studio brings together diverse perspectives and expertise to create considered solutions for individuals, organisations, and businesses.
Guided by a multidisciplinary approach, Tak Kolektiv’s work balances creativity, functionality, and innovation. Their designs have received international recognition, including the Red Dot Award and iF Design Award, and have been presented at leading design events and exhibitions such as Imm Cologne and Vienna Design Week.
Product Description
Awarded the prestigious German Design Award for 2024, Dika is a contemporary take on a traditional armchair inspired by Danish design from the mid-60s, whose name roughly translated means pride in the Slavonian dialect.
Simple wordplay conceived by a designer from the region and made from locally sourced wood is the essence of Nunc’s brand promise, blending exceptional craftsmanship with modern technology. Its play between curved and straight lines, attention to detail, and the distinctive break in the lumbar area make it a comfortable yet elegant component to any commercial space or home environment.
Soft and rounded solid wood plays beautiful homage to the comfortable foam seat integrated with a firm steel construction that will provide the most important support.
