Studio Ru:t emerged from the convergence of two passionate designers, Karla and Tvrtko, who crossed paths while working at the D Day Festival, an international design event championing progressive design practices. Their collaboration was sparked by a shared vision to create exceptional designs that melded Karla’s conceptual finesse with Tvrtko’s technical expertise. Recognising the synergy between them, the duo transitioned their occasional partnership into the foundation of Studio Ru:t.

Driven by a commitment to address contemporary needs and respond to evolving lifestyles, Studio Ru:t focuses on meticulous research and draws inspiration from everyday routines.  The designers believe in a holistic approach, integrating knowledge from various fields, navigating constraints, and emphasising usability.
