About The Designer – Fahmida Lam

Fahmida Lam is a New York–based furniture and home-accessories designer whose work draws on the elegant simplicity of Scandinavian and Japanese design.

A graduate of Pratt Institute with a master’s in industrial design (and an earlier background in finance and economics), Lam designs pieces meant to enrich daily life through both utility and beauty, inspired by travel and traditional handcraft. For Artisan she designed the Thor collection.
