About the Designer – Edvar Design
Edvar Design is the Istanbul-based studio of Emrah Son and Emel Son. Working together since 2013, the duo has created joyful, considered designs for furniture, tableware and kitchenware brands, with their work shown at international fairs and exhibitions.
Their philosophy centres on taking the nature of each material seriously and on making pieces that are genuinely original, a sensibility that runs through their collaboration with Artisan.
Product Description
The Swing Coat Stand combines architectural simplicity with everyday functionality. A slender timber frame supports a practical hanging rail for coats, scarves, and bags, while an integrated lower shelf provides space for shoes or personal belongings, bringing organisation and warmth to entryways and living spaces.
Available in a selection of timber species, including European Oak, Walnut, and Cherry, Swing is finished in ARTISAN’s natural oils to enhance the beauty and character of the timber. Thoughtfully designed and made to order, it is a refined storage solution that balances practicality with timeless design.
