A new build with a heritage overlay aspect, which we project-managed the construction phase and designed the interior for.  That meant consulting with the council on keeping within the streetscape elements for selection of hard materials and palette, to meet guidelines and stay true to the home’s contemporary design and feel.  Castlemaine slate was selected for the facade—the same natural stone was incorporated into the dining room and transitioned into the courtyard—a white Resene paint for the exterior was chosen to allow the slate to shine.
