One of Geelong’s most recognisable Edwardian buildings, Kirrewur Court was built around 1892 and its 17 main rooms—with features including an original crafted staircase, open fireplaces and period beams—saw it used as a reception centre.

New owners commissioned ducksnest to transform the property back into a private mansion mixing grand proportions with a warm family feel. The large scale project involved advice on interior design and decoration for both the existing layout and new extension.

Red carpets and chandeliers made way for contemporary fixtures, lighting, and stunning modern floral wallpaper by Tricia Guild. A new internal concrete floor in warm vanilla tones is juxtaposed with original brick walls and black steel windows.
